Baby 3 and other happy thoughts

Today has been a beautiful day. The sun is shining, I feel good, I feel at peace. Today I got to share the story of Brooklyn with a new friend. She was so sweet and cried for me and for my loss. It was so beautiful and sweet to me. I'm glad she took time to sit down with me. It is so refreshing and healing to talk about my Brooklyn.  I meant every word I told her about God and about my struggles and how I can be happy now. I can't wait to have my Brooklyn back, perfect and unscathed from the evils of this world. It was a trial that really tested me to the breaking point, but I don't regret it.

Little do some people know, brewing under the surface is baby 3! I know I announced it before--and I know the news is quietly  making its way through my church--because I certainly haven't been trumpeting it around. :) My most favorite reaction came from my Sis-in-law Angela, her vacation will just happen to coincide with the due date of my newest child and so she will be here and she jumped up and down and cheered and made quite a scene. That's how I feel inside. I am so excited I just want to dance and cheer and throw myself a party--now that the first trimester is done with. I am counting the days again to the birth of my new son--or daughter. In exactly one month (30 days) we will have our ultrasound to find out which gender have conceived. After that we will have 155 days until the baby is born. So...As of now... 6 ish months until our baby will be here. Everything will be fine.

To speak of my eldest child, he just keeps me in stitches. I just love him. We were at the store the other day, and out of the blue he starts singing the "Oompa Loompa" song from the original Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory from the 90's.  He is just a bundle of joy and he keeps me laughing. He can sing many primary songs almost all by himself. He can sing "He Sent His Son", "Love is Spoken here," and "You are my Sunshine" (which is not a church song). He can also count to 20 all on his own! He is so loving and friendly and he has really impressed me with how well he shares. He really is a very special boy. Genuinely good and kind. He is turning two, so of course there are moments where he and I butt heads, but for the most part, he is just wonderful.

:) Okay, very short update. Sorry. I'm watching a show on Volcanoes and I just....can't think of anything else. :) Until next time!
